Our Story

Back in 2022, I learned my son was diagnosed with autism. At first, I blamed myself—questioning everything I did during pregnancy. Guilt and confusion consumed me. Despite support from friends and amily, I felt alone in my grief and fear of the unknown. Then, a close friend introduced me to Kelli—my angel. She had walked his journey with her own son and shared her story with warmth, honesty, and hope. That first call lasted 21/2 hours. I cried, we laughed, and for the first time, I began to feel less alone. Kelli became my mentor, guiding me through resources, therapy options, and school planning. Who've Been There

Every since joining it has been a highlight of my journey. To be able to share my journey without judgement to other moms who totally gets it is the best feeling ever. Not only does it gives mom like me voice, but the education we receive along with resources has impacted me and my family for the better. I encourage any mom looking for a support group to join MAAM.
